The mobile solution offers high-speed
Internet connectivity through the StarBand network using
the C-COM developed auto-pointing iNetVu™ 750
antenna system. After arriving at a destination, the
fully automated satellite dish pointing system deploys
the antenna with a simple click of a button and automatically
connects the user to the Internet within a matter of
minutes.
StarBand is also announcing the introduction
of the StarBand® 481 Residential
and StarBand® 484 Small Office
services, bundled with the StarBand auto-pointing mobile
Internet service. These new offerings provide customers
Turbo Plus®
upload speeds up to 128 kbps and up to 500 kbps download
speeds with the StarBand 481, and with the StarBand
484 customers receive upload speeds up to 256 kbps in
Turbo Max® with downloads
up to 1 Mbps. Customers also enjoy all the benefits
of the StarBand 481 or 484 modem including easy setup,
connectivity with Windows, Mac, Unix, and Linux operating
systems and much more.

Internet prices & features:

* Prices are in US
dollars. Standard system includes 0.75 M antenna. Larger
dish
assembly may be needed outside continental United States,
at an additional cost.
- The FCC requires that a StarBand
certified installer perform the StarBand installation.
StarBand strongly recommends having a professional
RV Dealer/Installer mount the system on your vehicle.
- Equipment should be shipped directly
to the location where your installation will take
place, as the shipping crate weighs approximately
230 pounds.
