  Many of the issues you may experience with your StarBand system can be quickly and easily resolved without requiring a call to StarBand Technical Support. To resolve your most common issues, review the troubleshooting guides below.

For most issues you will encounter, the Mission Control Icon (located at the bottom right-hand side of your screen) in the System Tray will be Black instead of its normal Green.



In most instances, to find out what the issue is, you can place your mouse over the black Mission Control Icon and a short message will appear describing the issue.



If your Mission Control Icon is black, click on the matching error message below and follow the troubleshooter steps to resolve the error.

Satellite Modem is Disconnected

If you feel that the your internet browsing speed has slowed down, it is quite possible the problem lies with your PC configuration. For advice on "tuning up" your PC, click here.
